Waterfall Quest is an exciting free-to-play quest centered around a hidden treasure in Baxtorian Falls. The quest involves navigating past high-level monsters—level 86 Fire Giants and level 84 Moss Guardians—without equipment, so low-level or hardcore Ironman players should take caution. Fire Giants can hit up to 11, and Moss Guardians hit up to 14, so having at least 20 HP is recommended.
This quest has no skill or quest requirements, making it accessible to all beginners.
Time to Complete: I finished it in about 7 minutes. If you’re lower-level or not fully prepared, expect it to take a bit longer since the combat can be risky.
Ironman Tips:
Bring: a rope
Recommended: Games necklace to teleport to start the quest
If you have a Games Necklace, teleport to Barbarian outpost and run south to Almera's house, indicated by the quest icon in the image below. Talk to Almera and choose 1 during the dialogue.
She’ll explain that her son, Hudson, went treasure hunting and hasn’t returned, and she asks you to go check on him.

Search the bookcase and grab the Book of Baxtorian — make sure you actually read it, since you’ll need that for the next part.
Recommended: food to tank hits from Hobgoblins and Games necklace to teleport to next section, ring of dueling or Ardougne teleport and Games necklace to start next section
Teleport to Castle wars with ring of dueling then run northeast to the Tree Gnome Village maze shown in map below. Alternatively, you use an Ardougne teleport then head south. If you’ve already done the Tree Gnome Village quest, just use the Spirit Tree or talk to Elkoy to skip the maze. If not, follow the path shown in the image to get through it the long way.

Climb down the ladder inside the maze and search the north-eastern crate highlighted below to grab the key. Try to avoid the hobgoblins down there, or just eat some food if you take a few hits.
Use the key on the northwestern door, talk to Golrie, and he’ll give you Glarial’s Pebble. Hold onto it — you’ll need it later.

Teleport to the Barbarian Outpost. Bank everything except your pebble, food, stamina potions, and a games necklace for a quick exit. Note that no armour is allowed in the next area,
Head to Glarial's tombstone, east of Baxtorian Falls indicated by the quest icon below and use your pebble on it to enter the cave.

Once you’re inside the cave, be careful of the high-level monsters. You can either run past them while eating or tag a low-level skeleton or zombie first—this prevents the Moss Guardian from targeting you. This is especially important for low-level accounts since Moss Guardians can hit up to 14 and could one-shot you.
Head to the western room and search the chest to grab Glarial’s amulet. Then go south to Glarial’s tomb and search the coffin for his urn. Just a heads-up: searching the coffin can’t be interrupted, so you can’t eat or teleport while doing it, and monsters can still attack. To stay safe, it’s best to tag a low-level enemy before going in so the Moss Guardian doesn’t continuously hit you.

Congratulations! You have completed the waterfall quest. The rewards are shown below.

Completing the quest from level 3 Attack and Strength will increase your levels to 30, making early-game combat much easier. After this quest, it is recommended to do quests such as Fight Arena or The GrandTree for additional attack XP before you start training.
