The Grand Tree quest is a gnome quest about protecting the Grand Tree from dying out in the gnome race.

The Grand Tree quest has no skill, quest, or item requirements.

Walkthrough for the Grand Tree Quest

• Go to the Grand Tree. The fastest way to get here is by traveling with the Spirit tree in the Grand Exchange.

• Talk to King Narnode Shareen in the Grand Tree with at least 2 empty inventory slots. Reply 1 for him to take you to the basement. Reply 1 again to start the quest.
• With the Bank Sample and Translation received from King Narnode, go to Hazelmere, on the island east of Yanille. Fairy ring CLS or nightmare zone minigame teleport to get close to this location. Alternatively, teleport to Castle Wars with the ring of dueling, then run east.

• Talk to Hazelmere.
• Return to King Narnode in the Grand Tree. Reply 1, 5, 5, 2, 1, 4.
• Talk to Glough, southeast of the Grand Tree.

• Talk to King Narnode again in the Grand Tree.
• Right-click the stairs and select top floor to get to the top floor of the Grand Tree.
• Speak to Charlie.

• Right-click the stairs and select bottom-floor, then go to Glough’s house, southeast of the Grand Tree.
• Open and search the cupboard for Glough’s journal.

• Talk to Glough and your character will be arrested.
• Talk to Charlie.
• Talk to King Narnode outside Charlie’s cell
• Left-click Captain Errdo and reply 1 to travel with the glider to escape.

• Attempt to enter the shipyard on Karamja. Reply 2, 1, 2, 2 to enter.
• Get the Lumber order from the Foreman on the southern docks. You can either kill or talk to him to get it.

• Talk to Charlie on the top floor of the Grand Tree. You won’t be able to enter through the main entrance, so speak to Femi outside the main gate to be snuck in, or use the Spirit tree from the Grand Exchange. 
• Talk to Anita at her house west of the Grand Tree. Reply 1.

• Search the chest in Glough’s house to get the Invasion plans.

• Take the invasion plans to King Narnode in the Grand Tree with at least 4 empty inventory slots.
• Place the twigs to spell ‘TUZO’ in the watchtower in Glough’s house. Return to King Narnode if you lost any.

• Get ready to fight the Black Demon (level 172), then climb down the trap door. Use the safe spot shown below while attacking with ranged or magic.

• After killing the black demon, navigate through the cave to find King Narnode, then talk to him.

• Search the roots next to King Narnode till you find the Daconia stone.

• After you find the Daconia stone, return to King Narnode to complete the quest.
